Media Release
In response to the many questions we receive from parents like: 'How do I talk to my teen about drinking too much?", Parent Action on Drugs is distributing a package that will be of real interest to parents, particularly at high school graduation time. Because of this interest, we are asking your help in getting the information out over the next month.
The information offers a parent guide to teen drinking and a video based on a true graduation party that goes wrong. The guide gives parents step-by-step instructions on watching the video, key questions to ask teens and facts around the risks involved in heavy drinking. It also offers strategies for teens to identify ways to be safer at parties.
The Parents and Teen Partying Kit is available at a discounted price of $10 (regularly $35) until the end of June. Free resources are also available from Parent Action on Drugs, including the Parent Action Pack with information, games, and statistics on alcohol and other drugs.
The article and ads follow in a single PDF file. Several pictures from the video are also here for you to use. If you have any questions please contact us. Phone: (416) 395-4970, Toll Free: 1-877-265-9279 or email: pad@parentactionondrugs.org.
